    Just a little crooked!

    How the cowl matches

without flash the cowl looks a little better

    The Original stance

The aileron deflection "up" Should be enough

    #%$^&! CA Glue

How the wings are held together

    The cowl fit underneath

So, to begin this little ARF required a little of dry-fitting and interpretation.  As you can see in the pictures above, some things just didn't fit all that well and will require some mods.  All and all though, it's a nice little bird.  I think that the price point is a bit high, $75.00 would have been more reasonable at this size/quality.

    Lacking color on the original

    Rudder Mod

    Motor fit and offset

Working a little on improving looks

    servo fit

I thought that the original color scheme was too monotone, so I thought about adding some color.  Using Ultracoat yellow I recovered the tail.  I also added Robart 1/2A pin hinges.  The provided control rod for the elevator and rudder provides no adjustment once it is built-I didn't like that so I added some dubro micro fittings.  The motor is a snug fit, but manageable. (I haven't decided if I'll cut the prop shaft down yet.)  The Naked balsa was exposed underneath, so I painted it with flat black to mask it.  The servos I am using were wider than the provided slots, a dremel made short work of it.

The landing gear is articulated, but the provided springs were WAY too stiff.  A couple of springs from ball point pens gave much better articulation.

Here is a short clip of the leading edge slats/flaps in action.  My radio has a servo slowing function that I used to make the deployment more gradual

    FINISHED!
